Richard A. Newton LCSW, CSAT
Licensed Clinical Social Worker | Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist
I’m Richard Newton, a therapist and clinical leader dedicated to helping individuals and families heal from trauma, strengthen relationships, and move forward with greater clarity and balance. I believe many emotional and relational challenges—such as anxiety, depression, addiction, or feeling stuck—are rooted in earlier experiences that shaped how we learned to cope and connect.
My work is grounded in trauma- and attachment-focused therapy. I take a compassionate, practical approach, creating a safe and collaborative space while helping clients develop tools they can use in daily life to regulate emotions, improve communication, and build healthier patterns.
In addition to my outpatient practice, I serve as the Clinical Director of a residential treatment program for adolescents. This work includes specialized experience supporting youth with problematic sexual behaviors, as well as their families, using developmentally appropriate, evidence-based, and safety-focused approaches. This role allows me to stay closely connected to current best practices and bring a broader systems perspective into my work with clients.
I hold a Bachelor of Science from Utah Valley University, a Master of Social Work from the University of Utah (Summa Cum Laude), and an MBA with an emphasis in Finance from Southern Utah University. My goal is to provide therapy that feels respectful, grounded, and empowering—supporting clients as they heal, grow, and create meaningful change.

Hello! I’m Andrew Rosenbaum. I have a strong commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered mental health care as I work to complete my clinical internship as a therapist. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Utah Valley University, and I’m currently finishing a Master of Social Work degree from Western New Mexico University.
I have a background in construction, including some electrical work and quite a few years on a painting crew. More recently, I have spent the last several years working in human services. This experience has given me a particular interest in working with adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and the impacts of trauma.
Grounded in a strengths-based and culturally responsive approach, I integrate evidence-based practices like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) while honoring each client’s lived experience and personal goals. My work is informed by the social work values of dignity, client self-determination, and empowerment. I focus on creating a safe, supportive, therapeutic space, as well as making meaningful connections that help me work collaboratively alongside clients through their life journey.
Outside of clinical work, I am passionate about family, reading, movies, camping, and woodworking. I look forward to continuing my development as a clinician and serving diverse communities with empathy, integrity, and care.
